Tomás Segovia has taken part in several poetry readings and workshops of the POESÍA EN LA RESIDENCIA series. This audio book reproduces his reading on April 23, 2009, when he read his favorite poems following the chronological order of their publication, and added autobiographical comments and reflections about his work. Poetry, he concluded "tries to find the essence of an experience and spells it out.”

POESIA EN LA RESIDENCIA is a living document, the voice of the great Spanish and Latin American contemporary poets who have been presenting their readings since 1988, when Rafael Alberti started the series. Each volume includes a CD, a transcript, and a brief biography of the poet.
