Mexican painter and designer, Vicente Rojo has worked with Spanish-speaking writers over decades.

In chronological order, the catalog includes Rojo’s “shared work” with Octavio Paz, José Emilio Pacheco, José-Miguel Ullán, David Huerta, Álvaro Mutis, Andrés Sánchez Robayna, Fernando del Paso, Alberto Blanco, Hugo Hiriart, Juan Villoro, Rafael-José Díaz and Alfonso Alegre Heitzmann.

Designed by Rojo himself, the volume includes a selection of sketches, fragments of letters, poems and writings, the starting point of the “shared work.” It reveals how the visual arts and the writing combine to create a new art form.

Jaime Moreno Villarreal‘s essay, "La música luminosa" and Miguel Casado’s "Elogio del junto" complete this volume, which also includes the list of the exhibited works.
